The core tap ranges, Bella, Kariba Black, Art, Breo, Divo and the commercial and medical taps, have bodies of DZR brass: brass made to resist dezincification, a slow corrosion that strips the zinc out of ordinary brass. Houseproud is solid brass. The chrome finish on the core ranges is 200 hour salt spray tested.

No. H&C is stocked in Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia, and each country's stockists carry their own selection from the range. Botswana has 150 products, Namibia has 245 products, Zimbabwe has 96 products and Zambia has 108 products. Each country page lists exactly what is available there.

Guarantees are set per range and shown on each product page, as printed in the H&C catalogue. The Bella, Kariba Black, Art, Breo and Divo ranges carry a 10 year guarantee (Kariba Black: 10 years on the body and 5 years on the powder coated finish), and Houseproud carries 5 years.

Yes, the core ranges are. Bella and Kariba are JASWIC accepted to SANS 1480 as single lever mixers, and Art, Breo and Divo to SANS 226 as Class 2 screw down taps. Each product page shows its approval.
